Returning the motorhome
Our rental stations are often busy, and vehicles need several hours turnaround time for the drop-off procedure, cleaning and maintenance. It is therefore very important that you return your motorhome on time. Additional fees may be charged if the drop-off takes place later than agreed. If your actions delay the next rental of the camper, we may charge you for any resulting financial losses.
To change your drop-off time, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we will find an alternative time slot for you if possible. Due to the high number of daily rentals, the rental station must approve all changes to the drop-off. We are also happy to serve you outside our normal office hours (between 18:00 – 08:00), but this is subject to additional pricing and availability.
General motorhome return policy – your checklist for the drop-off
- Fill up the diesel tank
- Fill up the gas bottles (if not purchased earlier)
- Ensure that the overall cleanliness is good*
- Empty trash cans*
- Empty and wipe the fridge*
- Clean the stove top and table surfaces*
- Empty and rinse the toilet cassette*
- Empty the grey water tank*
- Leave the fresh water tank 1/3 full*
- Shake all carpets outside of the vehicle*
- Separate all rented pillows, duvets, linen, and towels in different stacks on a bed*
- DO NOT wash the exterior of the vehicle

Fuel and gas
Your motorhome rental begins with a full tank of diesel. When returning the vehicle, you need to refill the tank, as fuel is not included in the rental price. When refueling the motorhome (at any time), please remember to turn off the engine and all ignition sources including gas appliances, refrigerator, hot water heater and stove.
Your rental starts with two full gas bottles for the motorhome. Please replace any opened gas bottles before returning the vehicle. Otherwise, you will be asked to compensate for any opened bottles.
