Top 5 sights to include into your camper rental holiday in Norway

1. Lofoten islands with a camping car

You rental camper holiday in Norway should most definitely include a visit to the amazing Lofoten Islands. One of Touring Cars´ camper rental stations is located here so you can even start your camper adventure from the Lofoten Islands.

These islands have been rated the third most appealing islands in the world. This incredible place is located just above the arctic circle and holds amazing nature attractions and cozy fishing villages. Although it’s on the same latitude as Alaska or Greenland it has much milder climate. This is due to the warmth of the Gulf Stream. It is also the reason why these islands have the largest number of nesting birds in the whole of Norway. We would recommend keeping your camera batteries charged. This is the place where you will record your most amazing wildlife pictures.

2. Camper van road travel to Geiranger Fjord

The area includes snow-covered mountains, waterfalls and stunning deep blue Geiranger fjord. This is another sight you should not miss on your Norwegian rental camper adventure. Park your rental camper for a day or two and hike in the beautiful fjord landscape, do kayaking on the Geiranger fjord or take a sightseeing cruise on board of many local sightseeing boats. There are also brilliant fishing opportunities that can be combined with a hiking experience.

Choosing this route your rental camper experience will be pampered with postcard like sceneries,  tens of waterfalls, deep fjords and romantic local villages. The Trollstigen itself is very steep mountain road with 9 percent incline and 11 hairpin bends. There is a platform on top of the Trollstigen where you can enjoy the magnificent views and take pictures of this unique scenery.
