No previous motorhome experience required
Renting a Touring Cars motorhome is just like driving one – easy, secure and smooth. No previous experience with an RV or campervan is required. You only need a class B driver’s license. Our friendly and professional staff will show you how to use the motorhome before you start your trip, and gladly answer all your questions related to motorhomes or destinations throughout your holiday. All you need to bring along are your personal items and a cheerful holiday mood!

From the exterior to the interior, our motorhomes include fully equipped and tailor-made additional items to increase your comfort. The compact design and exceptional mobility of our RV’s allows you to explore diverse destinations with ease.
Touring Cars reserves the right to change any specifications stated and/or supply similar or higher class campervan for the confirmed price without any notification.
Pickup & drop-off times
Vehicle pickups and drop-offs are always agreed by appointment with your rental station. In case you arrive at the station with your personal vehicle, please inform the station about your arrival time to ensure a parking space during your journey.
If you prefer to use our free airport transfer service, kindly provide us with the following information:
* Arrival flight number
* Estimated arrival time of your flight
If you plan to arrive at the rental station outside the hours stated in your rental voucher, please contact the station to schedule a new time. Rental Stations are open 24/7* by appointment only. Arriving without notice may result in delays in service.
*24/7 rental pickup/drop-off is not available in Iceland.
Deposit
Touring Cars reserves the full deductible amount on the driver’s credit card as a deposit at the pickup. This hold is released immediately after the vehicle is returned and passes inspection. Please ensure your credit limit covers the selected insurance deductible and that your card permits foreign transactions.
Airport transfers
Airport transfers from selected airports are included in your rental price. Transfers are available on request for both the pickup and drop-off dates. Please see the list of valid airports on the destination page. Airport transfer must be requested separately with complete arrival details: arrival flight number and the estimated arrival time of the flight.
If you need additional transfers, please contact us well before your journey. Additional transfers need to be booked and paid for in advance. We will do our best to meet your individual needs!

Airport hotel transfers
If you’re staying at an airport hotel before your rental, we are happy to pick you up on your rental day. To arrange this, please email your flight or hotel details to our Sales Office at info@touringcars.eu. You’ll receive a confirmation once the transfer is added to your reservation.
If your travel date is closer than one week, please contact your rental station directly. The contact information is in your reservation confirmation letter.
The pickup process and orientation
Upon arrival at the Touring Cars rental station, enjoy refreshments while watching a motorhome orientation video. The video includes practical details and provides a great overview of the use of your motorhome. For your convenience, you can also familiarize yourself with the motorhome by watching the English orientation video below.
After the orientation video, our customer representative introduces you to your motorhome and provides in-depth details of the vehicle. This includes emptying the grey water tank and the toilette cassette, how to use the gas consumption, how to refill the fresh water tank and how to charge the vehicle with the electricity cable. We also introduce you to the inside of the motorhome and guide you in driving and controlling your motorhome. Due to the in-depth orientation, the vehicle pickup could take up to 2 hours – we’ll take all the time you need!
Once the orientation is finished and you have no more questions, the rental condition document with a rental agreement is to be signed. Once the documents are signed, you are ready enjoy the holiday to the fullest – The Road is Yours!
Customise your holiday
We’re happy to offer a wide range of additional items you can add to your rental upon pickup, such as camping sets, grills, baby seats and much more. However, we recommend booking any additional items in advance to ensure availability. Please note that gas consumption is not included in the rental price, so please refill the gas bottles before returning your motorhome.
